General.
Major General Muhammad Teyyab Azam has a vast experience of Command, Staff and Instructional assignments with 38 years of illustrious career in Pakistan Army.
Experience.
Commissioned as Mechanized Infantry Officer, the General Officer has served in Army Headquarters, Headquarters and various Field Formations. He has rich experience of serving on various key appointments inside and outside the country. He has an extended tenure of serving in restive areas/ war zone in FATA / Kashmir. Details of Key appointments are as under :
- General Officer Commanding (GOC) – Defence Security Force (DSF).
- UN Force Commander- United Nations Mission in Western Sahara, (MINURSO).
- Inspector General Frontier Corps (Scouts)- Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa / FATA.
